Whitehouse speaks about Greenland trip, Iraq effort

Earlier tonight Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse appeared on NBC 10 to discuss his recent trip to Greenland to observe alarming signs of global warming as well as the Democrats’ effort to stabilize Iraq and get our troops home as fast as possible.

    I am so proud that RI elected Sheldon. “That other guy” may have been a good guy, but, he never would have had the impact that Sheldon is already having. From the environment to Iraq, we now have a real voice.

    One thing: Sheldon, when the report comes out, don’t hold back. If it says we should stay, tell them NO. This War is over. It is time for the Iraqi’s to solve their own problems. Can we help? Sure. Can we give support? Heck yes. But enough of our blood and treasure has been lost already.

    Please help end the war, Senator.
