Statement from Rhode Island Democratic Party Chairman Bill Lynch

PAWTUCKET - Rhode Island Democratic Party Chairman Bill Lynch issued the following statement today.

“I, and the Rhode Island Democratic Party, would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Slocum family on the passing of Eileen Slocum. Our state has lost a magnanimous political figure and tireless worker on behalf of the people of Rhode Island. Miss Slocum will certainly be missed by those who came to know her.”
