Summer 2026 Campaign Fellow

The Rhode Island Democratic Party is seeking candidates for a Summer 2026 Campaign Fellowship. This is a paid position, designed for current undergraduate students as well as recent college graduates. Fellows will work roughly 25/hr a week to assist the Rhode Island Democratic Party in its election goals for the 2026 election cycle. The position will begin in June 2026.

  • Job Expectations: 
    • Fellows will assist the RIDP Executive Director and Data Director in supporting priority races during the 2026 election cycle. 
    • Fellows will aid in voter outreach, coordination of field programs, drafting of campaign materials, event planning, and office organization.
  • Required Skills and Knowledge:
    • Background in political science or adjacent field, prior experience working on campaigns or in political offices.
    • An ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is self-motivated, highly organized, and a quick learner.
    • Flexibility to work weekends and irregular hours is a plus.
