2026 Campaign Fellow

The Rhode Island Democratic Party is seeking candidates for its Summer 2026 Campaign Fellowship. This is a paid position designed for current undergraduate students and recent college graduates. Fellows will work approximately 25 hours per week to support the Rhode Island Democratic Party’s organizing and electoral efforts during the 2026 election cycle. The fellowship will begin in June 2026, with the possibility of an extension through the fall.

  • Job Expectations: 
    • Fellows will assist the RIDP Executive Director and Data Director in supporting priority races during the 2026 election cycle. 
    • Fellows will aid in voter outreach, coordination of field programs, drafting of campaign materials, event planning, and office organization.
  • Required Skills and Knowledge:
    • Background in political science or adjacent field, prior experience working on campaigns or in political offices.
    • An ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is self-motivated, highly organized, and a quick learner.
    • Flexibility to work weekends and irregular hours is a plus.
