The Rhode Island Democratic Party is seeking candidates for a Summer 2026 Campaign Internship. This is a paid position for students seeking to build professional skills and gain exposure to political work. Interns will work roughly 15/hr a week to assist the Rhode Island Democratic Party in its election goals for the 2026 election cycle. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Job Expectations:
- Interns will assist the RIDP Executive Director and Data Director in supporting priority races during the 2026 election cycle.
- Interns will aid in voter outreach, volunteer recruitment, campaign research, and office organization.
- Required Skills and Knowledge:
- An ideal candidate has demonstrated interest in politics and is enthusiastic about helping Democrats win in Rhode Island
- An ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is a quick learner, and a hard worker.
- Flexibility to work weekends is a plus.
